One of the most important aspects of this brave new world that technology is building as the future
will be the role each of us play within it. Nature is always working as the survival of the fittest evolution continues status quo. She could care less who is going to heaven or hell, who is born or dies. It is the pure nature of this world to support life, but it is up to each individual in this metrics of life to fit into it as either as a spectator or a part of the event itself. In nature there is not this choice, but within the human species there does seem at least for the moment this choice.

Big Wind, Big Solar, Big Hydro, Big Coal, Big Nuclear, Big Oil, Big Gas, Big Government, Big whatever will fail.. At the end of the day, it is what you do on the very rooftop of your own habitat, home, and shelter that matters. In the end no one will be hooked up to the BIG Boys at all. So yes in the end, " BIG" is just another waste of time and energy trying to capture the very energy commercially that falls naturally locally, without the same price tag or the greedy meters. Electricity as a commodity will only exist as long as people are willing to buy it from someone else at a price cheaper than they can produce the darn stuff themselves. Once electricity becomes very easy to produce just by changing roofing materials, well then a whole new ball game is afoot.

Maybe it is time to drop everything we are doing above ground, and begin working on some below the ground shelters? The tornados are getting very heated up, and nothing above ground can survive, except debris.

Today turned out to be a pretty productive day. We got the blinds up in the Solarium and you could notice the temperature drop in there as each reflector was being installed. This will take another load off the active Solar cooling systems, by not allowing so much Sunlight as heat in there in the first place. The blinds do however allow some light through. The blinds raise and lower at the push of a button on each bottom trace without all those messy ropes and other entanglements. These windows are exposed to the western setting Sun thus adding quite a bit of heat into the structure, of course this would of been fine in the Winter time when extra heat is a welcoming trait.
The cauliflower is starting to put on some nice heads. Cauliflower does really well in this climate so we will be planting more along in the fields also.
Another plant we are adding, and getting started in what a lot of people call the, " medicine plant"
but its actual name is Aloe Vera. This plant appears in a lot of lotions, and other skin care remedies, and is very good on burns. A lot of people keep one or two of these in their kitchen just for these and other reasons.

A casual conversation from yesterday----
Science--- " As technology improves, becomes more efficient and lower cost, you will see a large increase in distributed energy generation. "
Sol--- " What technology? Grid-tied Solar Electric ? The Utility grids have already failed the human race and is an outdated obsolete system. The only technology that is improving is the solar cell... Burning coal is about as clean as it will ever get and that just isn't enough. Efficient! efficient! You talking efficient? What is getting " efficient " is the tiny little devices people use on a daily basis nowadays that basically require little to no electricity... A small solar array can already power and maintain most post super modern " efficient " homes and appliances. "
Science--- " The utilities have reduced the use of coal for the last several years. The Government controls the rates they charge and that has reduced their ability to invest in solar. The utilities have helped fund the technological development of solar generation. Cost is important in the daily budget."
Sol--- " The people will leave the government and the utilities sitting in the dirt on this one my friend."
Science--- " Many People in urban areas do not have the access to use solar power. Many people cannot afford the capital investment needed to build an adequate system. Utilities now are underwriting and installing Solar in the better locations. "
Sol--- " Urban areas are being wiped off the map, Sir.. By Super heated Tornados! Maybe they can be used as run ways for Photovoltaic flying machines.....
All those cars, black asphalt parking lots, hot steel and concrete buildings and highways are producing a lot of heat rising up off the surface of the Earth, as when, a already aggravated super cell storm comes over such an area the extra heat will fuel the infant tornado into a super monster as we all have just witnessed in Oklahoma's Urban areas. "
Science--- " Urban heat Islands are a major climatological problem we are now facing. Combine that with deforestation and cutting the greenery to build are not good for anybody. "
Sol--- " Indeed..... "

Solar is top............
The Earth is basically a Giant Solar powered dynamo.. We are just now beginning to understand the connectivity of such a dynamic relationship. Its all connected, and we are so connected as well, as the ultimate Solar Creatures.
There is coming a time very soon when mankind will wish they had left all the oil, coal, and uranium in the ground where God in all his wisdom, buried the evil stuff in the first place.

When the super storms are hitting every few days the government agencies like FEMA will be overwhelmed by the shear magnitude of the devastation, not to mention the clean up cost. The idea of rebuilding will become ludicrous. The cost will also render insurance companies out of business although they will not be willing to insure such high risk monstrosities again in the first place. We are already beginning to see these realities manifest.
Moore, Okla., tornado was a powerful EF5 on the 'Enhanced Fujita' scale.
